So, no excess brushing or running your hands through your hair.
Wash the right way!
. Properly washing your hair - that sounds easy. But there are a few things you may still be able to improve:
1) Don't wash it too often: the more you cleanse the scalp, the quicker the sebaceous glands will replenish the scalp with sebum.
2) Don't use too much shampoo, and rather than one long hair washing session, wash it twice and do it quickly but without too much pressure.
3) Don't use too hot water and definitely make sure you rinse with cooler water.
The (temporary) instant fix!
. While these tips and lifestyle changes can work wonders in the long run, sometimes you need an instant fix: dry shampoo! Dry shampoo soaks up excess oil in a matter of seconds.
Tip: don't use it in the morning, but apply it right before you go to bed. A lot of sweating happens during the night.
