Large 100ml WHAT IS SMUDGING? It is usually the first step in any sacred ritual. Many people smudge an area regularly to create purity, or to get rid of any negativity in their lives, when they move house, or have had an illness etc. It is believed that negative energy collects in corners. Traditionally the burning of herbs or resin is used; the oils in this blend are some of the herbs and resin that were used in ancient practices: Frankincense, Myrrh, Bay Leaf, Alter, Thyme, Holly and Rosemary. HOW TO SMUDGE OR CLEANSE AN AREA: Starting at the door, spray above you and let it rain down over you, cleansing your body as you create your intent. Proceed in a clockwise direction around the room/space and spray in each corner of each room. When you have come full circle to the door where you began, spray above you and open the door to let out negativity and welcome in positivity. Spray two more times at the door opening and closing it.
