Transgender Awareness Online Course

This course introduces salon and business owners to the issues surrounding Transgender Awareness. What does it mean to be trans? What happens when someone transitions? What does the law say? And of course the most important question being how might that impact any treatments that we offer. With that understanding comes confidence. The course looks at some case studies and talk about recent news articles that some people may have seen and discuss how things could have perhaps been handled differently.

Guild Training International (GTi) recognises that this is a sensitive subject and the intention of this course is to raise awareness of the legal rights of transgender clients and point out some of the situations business owners may face. None of the situations described in this course are intended to cause offence and are not meant to be recommendations by GTi. All information is understood to be correct at the time of publication.
